WIAWAKA HOLIDAY HOUSE: HOLLEY & GAVIN

Holley & Gavin

Destiny is a magical thing. Holley and Gavin met in high school at a relay for life event. She had a huge crush on him throughout high school but once she graduated and moved to NYC for college her crush sizzled out (but did it?!). Destiny then brought them back together when she read an article he wrote in a magazine. She contacted him and they went on their first official date. It’s been Clan McDavis ever since.

SeCo, Casey says: Holley and Gavin were so much fun to plan with! They were both very organized and had a clear vision of how they wanted their wedding day to look, a causal but epically fun time for all of their guests! I also loved how Gavin would look at Holley during our meetings, he looked at her with no question that this woman was “the one”. Their wedding day was beautiful – it may have rained for 12 hours straight but Holley & Gavin still laughed and danced all day all long.

Holley & Gavin say: Casey and her team were invaluable during the wedding day. Casey helped manage our parents, kept everything running smoothly, fixed a last minute issue with our linens, helped our vendors get set up and organized, and kept the bride dry! Her two assistants were great as well, they got our tables set up beautifully. (What set Team KOWE apart was…) the organization and attention to detail! I wanted someone who would be just as anal about the details as I was, and KOWE was the perfect fit for that! I knew I would be in good hands with someone who cared about the event as much as we were.

Wiawaka Holiday House is the perfect venue if you’re looking for that summer camp getaway vibe. You can have your friends and family stay onsite in these awesome cabins and houses, you can host all of your weekend events (rehearsal dinner, welcome party, brunch) right there,  and you get to be on the beautiful waterfront of Lake George.
Even if the weather is a little (or a lot) rainy, there are TONS of spots to take pictures. Check out these amazing moments captured by the very talented,  Jessie Casey

First look at the House of Trix. Lake George is always so busy with passing boats but because of the weather was calm and quiet. It was so romantic.

Of course the Minne-Ha-Ha made an appearance and honked their horn at the soon to be newlyweds!

Loved these shots at the Boathouse!

These images make me want to get married in the rain!

Their ceremony was gorgeous. Their friend Kale officiated the ceremony and it was one of the most amazing ceremonies I have ever witnessed. Yes, all of team KOWE cried.

Thank you Holley & Gavin for having us be a part of your wedding day! We wish you a life full of amazing travels, white winters for skiing adventures and lots of puppy kisses!
