So you may have heard by now, but in case you haven't, I'm VERY happy to annouce that I am now engaged to be married! To say that the past few days have been surreal is a total understatement. I can't begin to tell you how many times I've been asked over the years if I was married or had a special someone in my life. I've had a few relationships, but more often than not, I was single and waiting for the right guy to come along. I can say now with 100% certainty that it was worth the wait.

I couldn't have been more surprised, amazed, sparkly, and overwhelmed with emotion and love. My fiance, Nate, contacted our friends at Elario Photography to capture the proposal–and they did so perfectly. I'm still reeling from this moment…and then Joe asked Nate to give me a kiss on my forehead and I pretty much lost it! Any photographer that I've worked with will attest to my love for forehead kisses. I am so incredibly happy.

I still can't believe that after years of helping other couples plan their special day that it's finally my turn! Not to worry, though–I'm still 110% dedicated to my clients!

As if the proposal wasn't a surprise enough, Nate had a few more tricks up his sleeve that day…but that's for another post!

I'm so thankful for the love of my life, Nate, our families and friends, and so grateful for the outpouring of kinds words and congratulations from so many of you. Thank you all! We're so very excited and can't wait to share our wedding planning adventures with you all. But, for now, we're just going to enjoy our engagement while we try to nail down a wedding date!
