As I have mentioned previously, I am really lucky to be surrounded by an amazing team of people in both my professional and personal life and Rebecca Ashby from The Pink Orange is one of those people who crosses the line, in a good way!
Her amazing custom stationery firm is one of the most sought after studios in the area and I am lucky enough to call her a friend. For the wedding industry professionals reading this you know that what we do is unlike many other professions and we tend to “get each other” more than other non-industry types.
I have known Rebecca almost as long as she has been in business and I am so grateful to have had her by my side as a trusted vendor and friend. We have been able to share the trials and tribulations that come along with starting a new small business and how to manage a life outside of clients. We deal with so many different personalities when planning weddings from the bride, the mother of the bride, the future in-laws and everyone in between.
Working with Rebecca is a really unique experience. She is so passionate, creative and really allows the personality and energy of the couple’s love shine through in the design process. The initial meeting with Rebecca is probably one of my favorite parts of the planning process. When I bring clients into her studio in Ballston Spa they are immediately put at ease when Rebecca’s starts asking them questions that will help guide her when creating their custom wedding vision. It is a comfortable, fun and easy going conversation that allows us all the chance to get to know each other even better and we have a couple of amazing designs that came from meetings just like this!
This is a Scrabble inspired Save the Date from Rebecca that she created for KOW&E couple, Marika and Paul. They are avid Scrabble players and were so pleased with Rebecca’s creation!
Another amazing, Save the Date for KOW&E couple, Emily & Todd. Todd brews his own beer and they’re getting married on St. Patrick’s Day so a coaster Save the Date was just the fit for them!
A true example of Rebecca taking a couple’s vision and portraying it perfectly on paper. Ashley & Eric had an intimate outdoor reception at a luxurious ranch in Montecito, California, and this invitation shows their vision before it was a reality… see!!
If you can’t get to The Pink Orange in person to check out Rebecca’s incredible work- be sure to take a look at her website or Facebook page!
